Dhruv Dange

I’m Dhruv Dange, a graduate student in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Dr. Matthew J. Travers at the Biorobotics Lab. My interests are in robust perception and reinforcement learning for legged robots. I’ve worked on autonomous forklifts at Flux Auto, AI-driven form-filling tools, and projects in ML, vision, and assistive technology.

Outside of research, I’m a mountaineer who has climbed Mt. Friendship (5289 m) and trekked passes like Rupin and Kuari in the Himalayas. I also pursue fishkeeping and aquascaping, hobbies that keep me engaged with design and detail in a different context.
